Keto Cauli Hummus
Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs 20g almonds or almond meal
- 260 g raw cauliflower
- 40 g tahini
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 60 g lemon juice
- 40 g extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 clove garlic 2.5g
Optional Garnish suggestions
- 2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 10 g Fresh green chillies, finely sliced
- 5 Olives
- 1/4 tsp Paprika
- 1 tbs Parsley, roughly chopped
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
Instructions
- If using whole almonds, start by milling almonds
- 10 seconds / speed 8 / mc on
- Add all remaining ingredients and mix 20 seconds / speed 5 / mc on
- Scrape down and mix 20 seconds / speed 4 / mc on
- Repeat a third time if you like it smoother, garnish as desired
- Store refrigerated up to 1 week or frozen 3 months
Traditional Method
- For this recipe use purchased almond meal, or pulse almonds in a food processor until fine
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend until well combined Or serve with The Low Carb Co seed crackers
