What pans do we recommend?

We often get asked what pans we use and recommend here at Thermo Foodie and the Chef for our stove top cooking, well our answer is unanimous, Solidteknics!
It took us both a while to jump on board, because at first they seem like a big investment, but thats exactly what they are, an investment! We have since both come to realise we will never buy another brand of pan again. For a start lets just say one thing, Multi. Century. Guarantee! Thats right, a pan that will not only out live you, but be passed down from generation to generation!
We have both been through so many pans over the years, we have both been caught up in the lure of the non stick, only to be disappointed time and time again.  Chef likes cooking on high heat so she kills non stick pans within about a year at the most, this leads to an ongoing expense and ongoing landfill.
They come pre seasoned and then you just start cooking, slowly the seasoning builds up and what you have is a natural non stick surface that will never release toxins or flake away.  They’re a dream to cook with and we find they compliment our low carb thermo cooking perfectly for the stove top components of our recipes. Use them to make your eggs for breakfast in our free mealplan, or have a parmy night with our Chicken parmigiana recipe!
More reasons why we love the Solidteknics AUS-ION pans are;
Australian Made and Designed
Australian material (wrought iron sheet)
Sustainablie – Multi Lifetime Warranty
Durable – Seamless design = Indestructible
Clean / Non Toxic ie no coatings
Forever Renewable non/low stick surface
Cooks like cast iron – though superior
Works on any heat source (except the microwave) including the campfire
Multifunctional –  use the skillets to bake in ie, roasts, LCHF cakes etc
We do not get paid for saying this, there is no kick back, except simply that we love these pans and love showing our support for companies we believe in.

Durability – you guys LOVE these pans because they are multi-generational and have a warranty to back up that claim, and you were tired of having to replace your traditional non-stick pans. Mine also only last about a year, tops and I’m now seriously looking at getting one of these to replace yet another frypan! And also.. chicken parmigiana?!? When did you girls sneak in that recipe without me noticing?!?

Solidteknics are THE pans to use. Not only are they Australian made, all in one casting, pre seasoned but can be used at high heat without destroying them unlike non stick pans. (which I have to admit I constantly do!) These are actually my dream pans as I have upgraded to induction and all pans I find that can be used…. suck!! (New pans unfortunately don’t rate high propriety list.) To be able to cook eggs for the fam of 5 without hassle would be a dream. Actually to be able to cook without scrapping off residue so food cooks evenly and properly would be a bonus. 😉
